I mainly use UPDF when I need to review engineering PDFs and make quick changes before sharing them with the team. I regularly highlight important points, add comments, insert notes, and combine pages from different documents into one review file. The page organization tools are especially useful when I receive separate specifications and supporting documents and need to put them together for a review. The interface was easy for me to understand because the main editing and annotation tools are easy to find. OCR is also useful when I receive scanned documents that I need to search or copy information from. I haven’t needed much training to use the basic features.

What I like best about UPDF is that it gives me the PDF features I use most without the cost and complexity of Adobe Acrobat. I regularly use it to edit PDFs, sign documents, combine and split files, and flatten PDFs before emailing them. The interface is clean and intuitive, and while there was a small learning curve coming from Adobe, I became comfortable with it quickly. The lifetime license and cross-platform support were major factors in my decision to purchase it, and the performance has been fast and reliable. I also appreciate that it includes additional features I haven’t had a chance to explore yet, giving me room to grow without needing to buy another product.
