ZipTempo is a check-in and membership management application for gyms and fitness studios. Each gym operates as its own tenant on a dedicated subdomain, with its own branding, timezone, staff, members, and data.
Staff manage members, access codes, classes, and memberships from a web app that works on phones, tablets, and desktop. Members get a separate self-service experience on their gym's subdomain, plus an installable mobile app (PWA) and a digital wallet pass.
The platform covers the full member lifecycle: issuing an access code, checking the member in (via a tablet kiosk or self-scan), tracking their membership and remaining visits, recording payments, managing class bookings, and keeping a complete check-in history.
Key capabilities
- Check-in: QR/code-based check-in, a dedicated tablet kiosk screen, and manual staff check-ins. Check-ins can record payment amounts and draw down membership entitlements.
- Access codes: Generate, assign, enable, disable, unassign, and delete member codes/cards, with per-code history.
- Members: Member profiles with photos (webcam or upload), check-in history, and bookings. Bulk CSV import with a preview step, plus member welcome emails.
- Memberships & visit packs: Define plans, assign member entitlements (visit packages or time-based memberships), and track payments and adjustments. Balances are derived from actual check-in usage.
- Classes & scheduling: Build class programs and recurring schedules, generate class instances, and let members book. A public timetable is available without login.
- Member self-service: Members sign in to view their membership, payments, class bookings, check-in history, and profile.
- Wallet passes: Digital wallet passes delivered to members via self-service links, email, and member app.
- Staff & roles: Role-based access control with granular permissions and email-based team invitations.
- Branding: Per-gym logos, favicon, colors, and timezone, applied across the app, the installable PWA, and transactional emails.
