HiCAD is highly effective across all industries, from design to the creation of manufacturing drawings and bills of materials. Whether in plant engineering with pipeline planning, mechanical engineering, or steel and metal construction, HiCAD adapts optimally to operational structures and, in combination with HELiOS, can communicate very efficiently with existing systems (ERP). All manufacturing data can be output automatically (DXF, DWG, STP etc). Workshop drawings are dimensioned automatically, while isometrics and piping plans are generated automatically as well. Through workflow control, indexing and approval management processes can also be implemented.

HiCAD gives you maximum flexibility. You can directly design your product model in 3D and get 2D production drawings here. Or you can draw 2-dimensional initially, then add 3-dimensional objects and automatically transform your drawing into a 3D model. Nonparametric for quick fixes use the parametric approach to model or make design changes at the push of a button.
