The API documentation is very well explained and was quite easy to get up and running with custom WebSockets to interface with our own logic in the backend. The conversational nature of their voices is incredibly high-end—the natural sound, no lag time between turns and they listen while you are speaking—is much more like able to carry on a conversation with another person than with the more stodgy and awkward older, IVR-type "telephone" apps. Furthermore, the swapping of the underlying LLM engines and changing the system prompts directly from the codebase allows our engineering team to have absolute control over the flow of the conversation, without struggling in order to overcome the limitations of vendor's LLM offering.
