Face Up is a B2B SaaS authoring tool for conversational simulations with AI avatars, used by training organizations and corporate L&D teams to create practice-based exercises in relational skills. Trainers use Face Up to turn case studies into role-play scenarios in which a learner holds a live conversation with an AI avatar playing a customer, a colleague or another counterpart. Scenario creation is no-code: trainers define the context, the persona, the objectives and the evaluation criteria using their own pedagogical frameworks. During a session, trainers can observe the conversation live and replay it afterward with timestamps. Face Up generates a structured debriefing that analyzes the exchange across verbal and non-verbal dimensions, including content, tone, posture and emotions. The product includes a catalogue of pre-built scenarios for sectors such as transport, banking and retail, and offers native integrations with learning management systems including Moodle, Rise Up, Docebo and LearnUpon. Face Up is hosted in Europe and GDPR-compliant. Data is encrypted at rest, and learner data can be accessed or deleted at any time. Session audio and video recording is an optional setting, off by default.
