Prodigy is a great online game to motivate students to practice their math skills! As a teacher, I love that I can assign skill sets for my students to work on that connect directly to the standards I am teaching or assign skills for review. Students love creating their avatars and having them battle others as they practice math. They say it is a combination of Harry Potter and Pokemon Go! Although students can connect to people they don't know, they are limited in what they can say in conversation by being forced to choose from canned responses.

My students love the prodigy website, however the games are what appeals to them the most.
