You do not need to maintain a separate VM or Virtual Appliance or even physical appliance with the service needed to maintain and take care of it. The other main advantage is the ability in real-time to see every device attempting to connect. This is helpful during audits to demonstrate authorized devices from unauthorized to an auditor. Lastly, Portnox aligned with the organization's compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, GLBA, and GDPR.

I use Portnox mainly to connect Azure joined devices to our corporate WiFi network. It gives us a better, more reliable experience for internal users connecting to WiFi at offices.
