I was looking for a tool that would easily and quickly allow users to submit a large number of short audio files. Phonic has proven to be an excellent tool for this purpose and my test users reported being very happy with the process.

I love that Phonic allows me to prepare an online survey, including pictures and customizing the design exactly as I want it in straightforward steps. It is a great user-friendly tool! I engage in sociolinguistic research, and the pandemic had a considerable impact on the ways I collect data. I could not interview participants face-to-face, and that was a huge problem. With Phonic I can do that, and what's even better, I can also avoid the observer's paradox by having participants reply to the survey in a time of their choosing, without seeing an unfamiliar face in front of them, and while they're in the comfort of their own home. It's just fantastic. Moreover, the staff at Phonic are great at getting back to you whenever you have a question in a matter of minutes! It is a great tool, and I only wish I had come across it earlier. For all these reasons, I strongly recommend Phonic to anybody looking to collect oral data online. I intend to continue using Phonic even after the pandemic is over.
