It is both simple and deep. You can easily run payroll for employees, contractors, on a monthly or bi-weekly or a one-off basis. The data integrates well with quickbooks and other platforms. Completing payroll becomes very easy to do on a regular basis. The pricing is competitive, often beating less competent competitors. If you run into issues, the support is STELLAR. People will bend over backwards to solve your problems and issues. Onboarding or switching from another payroll service provider is always complicated, but Patriot's customer service and onboarding people make it really easy. The system performs exceptionally well once you are onboarded. I can't say enough good things about it.
