I am very satisfied with Passwork. It works very well in our company with about 30 people. We have created different folders with different permissions, which works great. The search function is good. The price is also quite affordable – significantly cheaper than comparable competitors. Additionally, I find it a big advantage that we can host Passwork ourselves. This way, we can better ensure security and don't have to entrust everything to a cloud service. The initial setup was very easy, everything works well with Docker.

Passwork is an intuitive password vaulting solution which allows us to share and review password security in a user-friendly way. This solution allows us to fine-tune permissions on password access used for a numerous amount of applications and systems. This solution was chosen because of it's easy integration with our local systems using LDAP, and later SSO, allowing for enterprise-level security. The key feature for our organization is the ability to self-host, which allows us to control access and security even further. Comparing to other enterprise-grade password vaulting solutions it is priced very competitively. They provide good documentation for on-prem installation and their support is always happy to help if any issues are encountered.

The role-based vault structure, with both shared and private vaults, keeps permission management clean and predictable. Our end users found it intuitive, so adoption was straightforward and didn’t require much hand-holding. LDAP integration takes care of user provisioning and deprovisioning automatically, and the SAMLv2 support meets our SSO requirements. The API is well documented and genuinely usable in practice. Self-hosted deployment was important for us, and it has been running reliably on our own infrastructure.
