We love that students are easily able to work with the AI to improve their writing. It is like having an online writing tutor in their ipad. Rolling out packback within the classroom was easy, students had no issues using the tool from day one. Many of our students chose to use it on every writing assignment even when it wasn't required because they realized they wrote bette with assistance. I have been working with Packback for about 4 years now, and one of the best things about their customer service is that they LISTEN TO FEEDBACK and implement changes that teachers need/want. For the students, I love that Packback assists students in checking credibility of sources, in monitoring their grammar, and in strengthening their claims. For me, I like how easy it is to use; I can connect Packback to Schoology, I can set how often I use it, I can change due dates as necessary. I find that it closely mimics college style discussion boards, so my students will feel comfortable when they make that transition.
