This was the first grant application I’ve ever submitted, and I expected to spend the day fighting a clunky portal. I didn’t. The form asks for things in an order that makes sense, so I was never hunting around for where something should go. The character limits are stated up front, which saved me from writing three paragraphs and then cutting them to the bone. What I liked most was the notes box beside each attachment. Most portals let you upload a document and then it just sits there. Here I could tell the reviewer what each file was and why it mattered. For a new organization still explaining itself, that space was everything. I’d use it again without hesitation.

Short and to the point. It’s probably one of the easiest applications to fill out, and it doesn’t waste your time.

It mostly seemed simple, but I need more instructions, in particular the document section.
