Iterative building with live sampling: I can ask Maia to build a transformation, then immediately sample the output data to confirm it’s correct and refine it conversationally. What used to take multiple deploy-test cycles now happens within a single chat session. Reduces context-switching: Writing SQL, looking up column names, checking table structures, and configuring components all happen in one place. When it needs to verify something, it queries my warehouse directly. Maia serves as living documentation: I can ask it to explain any pipeline in my project, and it reads the YAML and gives me a clear summary of what it does and why. It’s been especially helpful for onboarding teammates onto unfamiliar pipelines.
