It has a straightforward user interface, with almost everything you need to upload and share videos. It autogenerates subtitles and you can upload subs in other languages.

First I had a very limited collection of videos on Vimeo...and really it wasn't worth hosting it there for the yearly fee. So I transferred them to Livid...it was very easy to do. Hosting and playback seem to be on par so for me it was a good move.

What I love most about Livid is the feature of limiting videos by domain, ensuring they can only be viewed on the domain I specify, even if the URL is copied. It also stands out that for a completely affordable price, I can have the features I need for my courses, very similar to what Vimeo offered me, but at a much lower cost. Additionally, it was very easy to set up for my needs, as I can upload the videos, get the code for WordPress, and limit to my domain without issues.
