The current generation, LAP Change 6, offers AI-assisted documentation and shift suggestions, a KPI cockpit for management reporting, EU-compliant working-time tracking, and ZUGFeRD e-invoices (the EU hybrid PDF/XML standard), plus native iOS/Android apps with real-time sync. Organizations that only need compliant time tracking can start with the lightweight LAP Zeiterfassung App and upgrade later. The established LAP Change 5 remains in use for organizations valuing stability, with interfaces to DATEV, Simba, KHK, and SAP.
