Backup is an automated database backup service for teams that want their data protected without maintaining cron jobs, custom scripts, or self-hosted backup servers. Connect your PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases, set a schedule, and Backup handles the rest — snapshots run in isolated environments, store as standard gzip archives, and are downloadable from the dashboard whenever you need them. Unlike backup tools that lock you into a proprietary format or vendor-specific restore path, every Backup snapshot is a standard pg_dump or mongodump file. You can restore with the same tooling you'd use for any manual backup — no Backup-specific CLI to learn, no migration headaches if you ever want to leave.
