We use iDempiere for several years now. We are happy with it. (1 ) iDempiere is a serious enterprise software suitable for medium and larger businesses. (2) we have 500+ active users daily, 100-400 mln calls to DB daily. You can have multiple application servers and load balancing between them, again all with the use of open source solutions that are well documented by iDempiere community. (3) iDempiere has 2 distinct engines for business process automation: Workflow and Requests. They are truly build-in and they allow us to formalize every workflow we want, spanning from our vendor, to our employee to our customer. (4) It is RPA (Robotic Processes Automation) ready. We use more than 100 of Robotic processes that do a lot of job for us - with the help of a standard functionality in iDempiere named Schedulers. (5) In terms of technology iDempiere has a modern structure - a core surrounded by number of plugins orchestrated one with each other. In real life this means that often we can modify the behavior of our enterprise system with no need to stop and restart it. In other words, we can modify our system on a fly.
