Overall I really like Hemlane and intend to transition my other properties to the platform. Normal operations like rent collection, tenant communications, and maintenance coordination works well through Hemlane. For rent collection, you can schedule the rent requests for each tenant, and the platform will automatically remind tenants about upcoming rents and apply late fees. All payments go through the platform and end up in your bank account within a few days. If using the premium level of Hemlane, most maintenance requests are coordinated through Hemlane, which has dedicated personnel to help find local contractors, making the process pretty easy for the owner. I've been very happy with the team at Hemlane, from the customer success rep who set up a call to walk me through the platform and checked up every once in a while to the maintenance coordinators who consistently follow up on the repairs requests. I've recently gone through a tenant turnover through Hemlane. The technology here is great; I was able to create a single listing on Hemlane and have it automatically update many rental listing sites (though some are "Premium Listings" and require additional payment). I am able to see all applications on one dashboard, request tenant screenings, and see the results and recommendation all in one dashboard. For out of state investors like myself, Hemlane can also help find a local person to handle the turnover, including repairs, showings and tenant selection.

Its all software base and and seemless. Tenant reported for service via portable that alerted me via my email where I approved it. The rest is all done. I am impressed !

The financial portion of Hemlane is amazing. Implementing the Stripe payment system gives great flexibility in accepting rent payments and security deposits. It is so easy to set up recurring payments and also to request money from owners and residents.
