First of all, documentation is very extensive. The community is very engaged and ODK had all the features we were looking for, and had features we never thought we needed. The way they've set up projects, users, forms, access control all makes sense. Offline features work well. Publishing forms was easy. It's a very cost-effective solution and being open source helps us extend the tool as needed.
