Factal does it right. They're unlike any other platform I've used, which rely solely on automation and algorithms, often leading to inaccurate alerts that risk hindering business operations. Factal instead employs analysts to prioritize the delivery of vetted, reliable, and actionable information. Moreover, Factal doesn't isolate its support. They foster a thriving community where all members can engage directly with both fellow clients and analysts without restrictions. This approach enhances collaboration and information sharing, making the Factal community a go-to resource for organizations seeking to make well-informed decisions.

Factal provides near real-time alerting from a variety of sources. Their site allows you to chat with editors and on a number of occasions those editors have dug up information on specific topics which I wasn't able to find on my own. Factal treats non-profits with a great deal of respect, understands our budgets, and sees the value we bring.

Particularly in light of having a limited budget and staffing resources, Factal has been a fantastic resource that I strongly recommend. The quality of information and customization options for filtering and receiving alerts are helpful and assist our team in promptly checking in on staff and travelers. Adding locations of interest to the platform, viewing updates by severity in a dashboard, and accessing chat groups with hundreds of members and Factal editors are additional membership perks. There are even more features on the platform that we haven't yet tapped into, but we plan to, and the Factal customer service team is responsive and receptive to feedback on how they can improve the user experience. One of the things I appreciate most about Factal is that they provide free unlimited service to life-saving NGOs (humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and human rights). They have been doing this for years and have been incredible partners to the NGO community.
