I've run the Event Technology Awards on Evessio for the best part of a decade. This year was the first time I properly sat down and went through what the platform can actually do. The docs, the knowledge base, the release notes I'd skimmed and filed for later, the settings I'd never opened. It changed how we ran the whole programme. The entry data comes out clean and structured, so I could analyse every submission against our category criteria and find entrants whose story fitted categories they hadn't considered. Cloning meant I could move those entries across without asking anyone to write a single extra word. That one piece of work brought in another 30 to 40 entries. We finished on 247, up from 165 last year. The thing I'd underline though is how little support it needed. Not one entrant emailed me asking how to enter. Two voucher code queries all season and both were caused by how I'd set them up. Same on the judging side. No confusion, no hand holding. When you're building an exhibition at the same time, not losing half your day to Zoom calls about a form is worth as much as any feature on the list. And the team behind it. Gayle, Fran and Gary have been on hand throughout, and honestly the service is as much of the reason this year worked as the software is.

I like the professional looking websites that are produced by Evessio and the ease of setting up a new event. The support teams and help desk are fantastic in assisting when I have a query.

It's really easy to use, it creates nice looking websites with the great backend. Judges find it easy to use, as do the entrants. All round smooth process, with good reporting tools too.
