On the other end of the spectrum, tools like CaptivateIQ and Spiff often feel like enhanced spreadsheets, where users eventually run into the same challenges as spreadsheets themselves—managing formulas, QA’ing logic, and dealing with nested or brittle calculations. EasyComp provides a strong middle ground: it’s intuitive and lightweight to implement, while still offering a solid foundation and the right level of structure to scale confidently.
