After being offered a presenter opportunity that I wasn't expecting, I needed to create a website and fast. I did not want to use my general business site, and stumbled across DoodleKit after searching for an inexpensive and quick site builder. This review is about their free (basic) plan, and that is the one that I have used. My favorite thing about this site is that it is VERY easy to use, probably the easiest of any site builder I have tried. I paid someone to create my business site, and knew I did not want to do that for the (short term) purpose of my new website. There are a TON of website templates to choose from, way too many for my liking, and I was happy to narrow them down to what I was looking for by searching the keywords "zen" and "minimal". You can customize pretty much anything, and easily add your social media sites, business hours, slidesshow/photos/ and blog. Also, the websites look great on mobile devices!

First of all, this is an exciting new platform to me & the things you can do are endless. I have a personal account as well as a business account. It allows for you to fully customize your blog & forum discussions. If you are using it for professional reasons you can set up links so they may purchase directly from you. Easy peasy!

I like how easy it is to make a website
