Recently, I have been using the online software Docparser to extract the relevant cost data from thousands of invoices. all of it needing to be consolidated into one place and interrogatable. Yes there is a learning curve, but it's not too steep or agonising. The team at Docparser have been fantastic in getting me up to speed pretty quickly or answering my “dumb” questions, usually overnight. What has it meant to what I do and for clients in general? Large numbers of PDF documents that previously would have gone offshore to be converted are now done in-house, which means a faster turnaround, better data alignment, less mistakes and an immense saving in time and money. Yes, there is a cost, but generally, there is a plan to suit most needs.
