The best part of Docmosis and the reason why it should be the go to choice for document template generation is the simplicity on constructing the templates. There is no need for IT competence, it can be done by any reasonably savvy regular user. You just do it in Word, no weird custom UI you need to get your head around. And, all the formatting from Word is just there in the document generated. IT is only needed to set up the interface between your system and docmosis. Ideally that is a one time job. The tricky part is knowing your own system well enough to know what to put where in the template, the "coding" in Docmosis is the easy part.
