The transcription quality is good, the streaming API works well, and integration was straightforward. It also supports different audio formats and multiple languages, which makes it suitable for different use cases.

The pricing of similar APIS like grok voice have become more competitive. While Deepgram is hardly a significant cost for us so we will be staying as we LOVE the DX and speed of their API. The new skills are also very good.

I use Deepgram for cheap transcription, and the accuracy is at a decent enough level most of the time. I like the easy-to-use portal, especially how I can track API key usage and spending. The playground tool is also helpful for processing one-off audio recordings, and I've used this 4 or 5 times. The initial setup was good, and I believe I could sign in with Google.
