I start using Creately for simple diagrams, but it quickly becomes useful for a lot more than that: API flows, internal process maps, architecture diagrams, UML, technical customer journeys, and visual documentation to explain changes before we build them. I can start from a template, drag a few elements around, connect the different parts of the system, and have something clear enough to share with the team pretty quickly. The templates and smart shapes save me a lot of time because I do not have to start from a blank canvas or spend too much time making the diagram look clean. Creately helps keep the structure organized without making me feel like I need to be a designer.

The tool has awesome shapes and icons to build diagrams and robust process workflows that make process documentation more precise and I like that the built in templates saves a lot of time when creating flowcharts.
