I began using Countable after a desk inspection, when it was suggested that I find software to assist with preparing compilations. Before that, I relied on paper checklists and spreadsheets. As a sole practitioner, I wasn’t interested in desktop software, since it seemed more than I needed and more than I wanted to invest in. Countable has made it much easier for me to stay compliant with CPA Saskatchewan, thanks to its direct integration with PACT and PEG checklists. The document repository allows me to keep the entire file in one place, including all source documents and client-signed reports. When it’s time for inspection, I can simply download the complete file and submit it. Countable keeps me organized and has truly streamlined the CSRS 4200 standard for all my compilations. I also want to commend the Countable team. They have always been extremely supportive whenever I’ve had a problem, a question, or needed additional training. My staff has also been able to reach out to Countable directly and have learned a great deal about the software. I really appreciate that Countable is online rather than desktop-based. I don’t have to worry about maintaining software or hardware, and it’s always up to date, safe, and secure. It’s also important to me that Countable is a Canadian company, especially regarding data security.

Countable allows for the generation of financial statements that comply with the accounting standards of our region and for the completion of corporate tax returns. Once the template for the IGRF is set up, it becomes easier to produce the tax return. This allows us to save time.

I appreciate both the features that are currently available and those that are planned for the future.
