Ease of use, flexibility, extensibility, and usefulness with other technologies within our technical ecosystem including with AI agents and people using MCP servers. As a vendor, support and value delivered is strong as Cortex solves a key need for internal developer platforms by centralizing important metadata and enabling new capabilities.

It is the most comprehensive developer platform we came across in our vendor evaluation. We looked at factors such as availability of ready-built integrations, established/existing customer base, compatibility with our choice of tech stack and cloud provider, and ease of use. Cortex came out on top in almost every area. When it came to pricing we were expecting them to be the most expensive as we narrowed down our choices, but we were pleasantly surprised when they offered us the most competitive deal. We have had a lot of support including an intensive onboarding/adoption phase, and the product is doing well in the AI space with a MCP server and a virtual CIO capability.

The integration with all of the different systems lets us tie things together to really get an integrated view of everything. How many times are alerts tied to a specific service? How recently were the commits to that service that relate to the incident? It all ties together well.
