The best 2D game engine for indie groups.

This engine is completely open source and has an amazing network. Different responses for unique human beings. It is the platform and you can, without problems, start your recreation and even your application for iOS, Android, Windows Phone. With Javascript links, you can literally create a flappy bird clone in 2 hours or much less, assuming you already have your audio and photo assets. Some well-known games like Badland, Hill Climb Racing, 2048 are products of cocos2d Obj C and its sibling cocos2dx c++.
