We have signed up for the free version of CloudLIMS. It is a LIMS platform that has quite a lot of functionalities that are already built out. We liked that here is a low-cost starting option that can later be converted into a higher cost (one-time pay per year) with full functionality as our lab grows. We did like the transparent features, graphic design, and the connectivity of the various modules such as samples, tests, workflows, inventory, and so on. It is all there, what we needed to do is customize them for our laboratory's workflow, storage, test recipes. The setup is relatively easy, however, it takes time (just because we want to make sure we set all items properly for the lab.) The support team is available, less so for the free version, however, we get support as needed.

There are quite a few things that come to my mind: First and foremost, CloudLIMS has a neat and intuitive UI which makes it easy to use. Secondly, it’s highly configurable. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention their remarkable support team; they have been consistently helpful whenever we've had questions.
