TLDR: our experience with CKEditor has been nothing short of impressive. It is a powerful and flexible editor, supported by a great team that truly believes in the product they have created. CKEditor hasa ton of advanced features that meet/exceed the needs of our enterprise users. Some of the features that are important to our users are: version history, track changes, spell check, find and replace, and real-time collaboration. Integrating CKE into our enterprise SaaS product wasn't very hard and they have solid documentation. RE CS, we have consistently received prompt and knowledgeable responses to our inquiries, even when the issue is highly technical. CKEditor team does a good job of keeping us up to date about progress and surprisingly does a great job providing estimated resolution dates. The technical team at CKEditor are experts in their field. We have regular meetings with them to discuss our advanced requirements and collaborate on developing new features. They're super dedicated and go the extra mile to make sure we're happy.

We use it for our medical transcript documentation with real time collaboration, track changes and other plug-ins, similar to MS-Word but with better UI and UX. The tool integrates seamlessly with our application, is medium complex when comes to learning and implementing it. It largely does what it is intended and supposed to do! Customer support team is extremely helpful, proactive and quick to respond to our queries. We plan to extend our use cases by making it doctor facing who can self edit the patient transcripts using AI and ML.
