Howly is a read-only HubSpot app that visualizes how a portal's workflows connect, audits their health, and shows the downstream impact of a change before it is made. It connects to a HubSpot portal through OAuth 2.0 and loads every workflow onto a single interactive canvas, drawing the relationships between them. It detects three connection types: direct enrollments, shared lists, and property-based triggers.
Clicking any workflow opens a detail panel showing its triggers, actions, conditions, and its upstream and downstream connections. The Health Checker scores a portal from 0 to 100 and flags stale, orphaned, and empty workflows, possible duplicates, and broken enrollments. The Impact Analyzer maps every workflow that references a given property, so a user can see what a rename or deletion would affect before changing it in HubSpot.
Howly also includes AI Insights, which uses Claude to review a portal inside the app and return prioritized issues, gaps, and opportunities; Benchmarks that compare a portal against similar-sized HubSpot instances across ten metrics; and a Recent Changes view of workflows modified in the last 30 days. Through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, MCP-compatible AI assistants such as Claude can also query a portal's health score and workflow issues directly from a chat client, without opening Howly. Maps and audit reports export to PDF, PNG, and Lucidchart, and branded reports can be white-labeled with a company logo and colors.
Howly is read-only and cannot edit or write to a portal. It supports HubSpot Professional and Enterprise accounts, including Sandbox portals, and can connect to multiple portals under one account. It is used by RevOps teams, HubSpot admins, agencies, and consultants who manage complex or growing automation.
