BlackArgus Focus is desktop software that helps protect YouTube channels and their communities from scam comments. It monitors comments, detects patterns of fraud and deception, and can automatically hide suspected scams when explicitly enabled—reducing manual moderation and helping protect viewers and a creator’s reputation.
Detection combines rules with a statistical model to identify obvious scams and subtle approaches. These include personal recommendations, fabricated success stories, and offers of help intended to build trust and steer viewers toward external contact channels or fraudulent offers. Analysis also considers commenters posing as satisfied customers, helpful experts, independent supporters, or creator representatives.

Local Processing and Creator Control
Standard analysis and regular working data are processed locally on the user’s computer. Focus connects to YouTube to retrieve comments and perform moderation actions. Optional external AI services involve additional data transfers to those services.
Creators control when Focus only monitors and when it takes automated action, leaving more time for content creation and community engagement.
