MadeToTag, a powerful plug-in for Adobe InDesign, specifically supports users who want to create accessible, PDF/UA-compliant PDF documents. Creating accessible PDFs from InDesign usually requires extensive rework, which is time-consuming. MadeToTag guides users systematically and purposefully through the entire process. Nothing is overlooked. It offers an overview function that allows all metadata and alternative texts stored in the document to be conveniently checked and adjusted. MadeToTag's table tool is unique for creating accessible PDFs. It addresses one of InDesign's biggest weaknesses by enabling effective definition of table headers (column and row headers). This is otherwise not easily possible directly from InDesign and is a significant advantage for accessibility, especially with extensive or complex table documents. Additionally, MadeToTag significantly reduces the usual corrections in the PDF after export. The application of the plugin is very easy, there are tutorial videos for it. The installation/integration into InDesign is just as simple. I haven't needed customer support so far, which is overall positive. In almost all projects, I now also have to create accessible outputs (Accessibility Strengthening Act, BFSG), so I use the plugin daily.

The guided workflow makes it quite easy to process all necessary work steps in a fast way. This affects preparation, tagging itself and export. It contains much useful option, like marking content by color to visualize issues and other stuff. The result is much better in comparison to indesign itself, especially if you deal with tables.
