As someone initially skeptical about virtual desktops, Apporto has been a pleasant surprise. The setup was quick and straightforward, and I can access my workspace from anywhere on any device, which is incredibly convenient. The performance is fast and smooth, even when I'm working remotely. Overall, Apporto has made remote work efficient and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Illinois Tech partnered with Apporto for our Virtual Computer Labs (VCL) in 2019 after many years of hosting our VCL in-house. Our in-house/open source solution was taking an excessive amount of staff time to maintain so we were looking for a vendor partner who could host our VCL in the cloud. We explored many, many products and ultimately selected Apporto due to their dedication to the Higher Education space, their ease of use, flexibility, and their personal approach to understanding our university and studen/faculty needs. Today the VCL is our primary comuter lab.

The service offereings and features are great for educational institutions. They are able to configure and install unique applications so students can access software from most devices with an Internet connection and a web browser. The pricing is easy to understand and it's predictable which makes it easier to budget for.
