For smaller applications the licensing price is a killer. For larger, the effort to build solid systems is a significant one ...and then comes the license cost. Not sure if platforms like Appian will hold against systems that are being developed much quicker with GenAI. The UI and UX experience is good for a non tech person, but limits the more tech savy ones. For non tech people this can be a game changer when onboarding, and on the surface it builds a picture of a system that is great to work with. But then comes the reality. Integrations is a solid point of Appian, but with GenAI they should be achievable way quicker. The GenAI layer of Appian is not that strong in my opinion - both in building with AI, and in utilizing GenAI in business layer. It's also strange to see that you have to wait for a lot of things. Wait as in operations are taking way too long.

I really think the security and safety they have surrounding protecting customer data is amazing. I also think using the connected system feature has been amazing and time saving. It is also very convenient to use.

Process HQ has been great in providing insights and data for business users allowing them to quickly see their data in the system. Additionally, the expanded functionality of records has made data more accessible and quicker to develop.
