I have been using Cursor from Anysphere for quite a long time now. It has been my go-to IDE for coding, and I love its overall UI. I migrated from VS Code, and I was able to sync my entire workflow from VS Code to Cursor easily. The AI-integrated workflow has been a life-changer for me. I use it regularly for building small tasks as well as tasks that are complex. Besides code generation and completion, I use the Cursor AI agent to understand the unfamiliar codebase and give me proper context for it. Overall, using Cursor from Anyshphere has drastically increased my productivity.

I spend a lot of time debugging services, I review PR's and working across different parts of the codebase. Cursor helps me get the context faster and often points me in the right direction without having to look thoroughly into the files. It's especially useful when I return to my existing code that I haven't worked on in a while.

I like Cursor's ability to look across the project when I am trying to understand a change or trace an issue. I can ask a question, inspect the relevant files and try a small fix in the same place. That makes it easier for me to get involved in product work without spending so much time finding the right starting point.
