What I like best is that Cursor feels like a VS Code fork that actually gets out of your way, while still being genuinely smarter about your codebase. The tab autocomplete is the killer feature for me: it predicts multi-line edits and even anticipates where you’ll jump next, which makes everyday coding noticeably faster. Agent Mode is where it really stands out; I can say something like, “add rate limiting to the API routes,” and it plans the changes, edits multiple files, runs the tests, and fixes what breaks—all in one go. The diff view is clean, so I can see exactly what changed before accepting it, and because it’s built on VS Code, all my existing extensions and keybindings just work. It’s the first AI editor where I don’t feel like I’m fighting the tool to do what I actually want.

I appreciate Anysphere’s innovative use of AI to simplify coding, boost productivity, and empower developers.

Cursor is our most used and important software, major parts of the whole company rely on it.
