What do you like best about ZoneCapture?

I work with a lot of incoming invoices, forms, and supporting documents every day. Before ZoneCapture, our team spent a surprising amount of time opening files, checking details, and manually entering information into other systems. What I like most is that the platform takes much of that repetitive work off our plate. Documents arrive from different sources and the data extraction process is much smoother than what we had before. It has reduced the amount of routine admin work that used to slow us down. What do you dislike about ZoneCapture?

When we receive documents with unusual layouts, a few fields may still need manual review.

What do you like best about ZoneCapture?

The extraction accuracy on our highest volume document types was better than anything we tested during evaluation and it has only improved since we went live. Our operations team spent the first few weeks genuinely surprised by how little they needed to correct and that surprise fairly quickly turned into a new baseline expectation for how document processing should work. The confidence scoring on individual fields has also meant that human review time gets spent where it actually matters rather than uniformly across everything the platform processes. What do you dislike about ZoneCapture?

What do you like best about ZoneCapture?

What do you dislike about ZoneCapture?

Initially, we attempted to implement both Zone Capture and Zone Approvals. During the implementation process, we were told that auto approvals would not occur, but we soon encountered a significant problem: bills were being auto approved and paid through Zone Approvals. This was a major issue for us, leading to the immediate termination of our use of Zone Approvals. Only after this did the team add a feature to address the problem.

We decided to continue with Zone Capture. At first, we didn't realize that our vendor bills were taking over 27 seconds to approve through Suiteapprovals. We assumed Suiteapprovals was responsible for the delay and eventually stopped using it. However, after conducting a thorough analysis with consultants, we discovered that the real cause of the slow load times was the bundles from Zone Capture in NetSuite.

Additionally, our subscription was auto-renewed without any communication. Our main point of contact had left the company due to a health issue, and we were unaware that she was the primary contact for Zone Capture. When our new accounting manager reached out, we were informed that our contract had been auto-renewed and that cancellation or a refund was not possible, even though they knew our main contact was no longer with us. They were aware because a meeting to discuss renewals with the new team had been scheduled, then cancelled by them with the promise to reschedule closer to the renewal date—which never happened.

Our experience with customer service was extremely disappointing, both during the failed Zone Approvals implementation and at the end of our engagement. If you are considering Zone Capture, I strongly suggest exploring other vendors. There is no reason to add a solution that will slow down your ERP and force you to deal with a customer support team that struggles with communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
