## About AIVA
AIVA is a no-code, visual test automation platform that lets teams create, run, and maintain automated tests for web applications by recording a manual test once and having the software replay it going forward, without writing or scripting any code. It is used for regression testing, release verification, and ongoing functional testing of web applications, and is aimed at QA engineers, product managers, and other team members who need working automated tests but do not have a development or test-scripting background. Instead of reading an application's underlying HTML, DOM structure, or relying on CSS/XPath selectors, AIVA identifies elements on a page visually, based on what is shown on screen, similar to how a human user would recognize them. A user performs a test step by step by hand one time, and AIVA learns from that session and repeats the same steps on subsequent runs. Because recognition is based on the visual layout rather than code, tests generally continue to run correctly even when the underlying code of the tested application changes, which reduces the amount of test maintenance required as an application evolves. Core aspects of AIVA include: \* Visual, DOM-independent element recognition, so tests are not tied to an application's code structure and do not rely on element IDs, XPath, or CSS selectors \* No-code test creation, where a user builds a test by performing it manually one time, without writing scripts or having programming experience \* Step-level failure reporting, so when a test fails after an application change, AIVA points to the specific step affected, which a user can then update \* Cloud-hosted test execution, so there is no software to install or infrastructure to set up, and a first test can be created and run without creating an account \* Compatibility with web applications built on any front-end framework, since AIVA interacts with the rendered page rather than the application's code AIVA does not modify the code of the application under test, and it does not change existing tests without user action. AIVA is developed by Y Soft, a company that also provides enterprise print and document management software.
