What I like most about XFilesPro is that it integrates Google Drive directly into Salesforce, allowing our users to access and manage documents without leaving Salesforce. Once properly configured, it provides a much more intuitive and efficient document management experience than working directly in Google Drive.

Another aspect I really appreciate is the support team. Throughout a complex migration and folder reorganisation project, they have been responsive, open to feedback, and willing to enhance the product to support our specific requirements. The biggest challenge for us has been understanding how XFiles manages folder structures and relationships across different Salesforce objects.

During our migration, we found that configuring and maintaining a consistent folder hierarchy across Accounts, Opportunities and custom objects required a significant amount of manual work and investigation. More documentation and best-practice guidance for these scenarios would be extremely valuable.

We would also appreciate more administration features within Salesforce, such as easier management of Lightning Page configuration, better visibility of where the XFiles component is used, and the ability to manage folders (including deleting them) directly from Salesforce when appropriate. Professional onboarding team that is very attentive to all my questions and provided valuable support during implementation. The integration interface for admin users is very intuitive and easy to follow during initial setup. In case of running into problem, the support team was always available to help via call. Nothing at the moment. The only challenge I had was that our internal installation user guide was slightly outdated and didn't mirror the features in the installed packages. I was able to find some online materials (Youtube) of xFilesPro, but the materials there are also a bit outdated. XfilesPro eliminated the headaches of scattered files and limited access, making everything searchable and accessible through multiple paths. Its integration with Google Drive allows us to send emails directly from Salesforce using our existing Classic Email Templates, and attach files stored in Google Drive as attachments or links that can be password protected and expire. This centralizes communication and documentation in Salesforce, leveraging external file storage to significantly improve our workflow and efficiency. The simplification and centralization of file management in Salesforce is outstanding, particularly with Google Drive integration. The team added extensive documentation which has greatly improved onboarding and usability. Would be nice to have to change a folder path from Salesforce after it has been created. The SharePoint path is determined by the Salesforce record name (e.g. name of an opportunity). Very rarely we change opportunity names, in which case the pathname gets orphaned. I then need to manually change the pathname in SharePoint..... We have been using XfilesPro for several years now for a specific scenario where we share cases and attachments with an external organizations Salesforce environment. Each case shared creates a linked case in the others respective Salesforce environment. The XfilesPro application lets us then easily upload the attachments associated with the case to Salesforce, transfers them to our Sharepoint site, and links them to the case in the other Salesforce org, where they can be read or downloaded. This tool has also been a great way to reduce the amount of file storage we are using for attachments in Salesforce.

Throughout our years of using the tool, the XfilesPro support team has been great! From the initial project customization and implementation, to the on-going support, the team has always been quick to respond and willing to jump in and help resolve any issues in a timely manner. With our recent upgrade to 8.2.3, the XfilesPro team has implemented new connection refreshing capabilities which makes refreshing our connection to Sharepoint much easier. Before this enhancement, the steps you had to go through to refresh the connection annually was a bit tedious, but now it is just a single click.
