The thing I like best is that it gives me all the functionality I'd need to build and run a website centrally. It's almost like creating a website, except this time it's on my screen rather than in the cloud. This ensures that I can easily edit and change my site until I'm sure it's ready for launch. The one thing that made me feel uncomfortable is that WAMP comes with the standard component stack, but it doesn't encourage us to add any components to it. I can't use it on a Linux computer. It's quite easy to use. In fact, WampServer's User Interface is probably the simplest I've seen in a localhost software. Another thing is that it offers me all the features I'd need to build and run a website locally. It's more like setting up a website, only this time it's on my computer instead of in the cloud. There is a general opinion that Linux is the most suitable environment to work on PHP. But, after the arrival of WAMP stack, that is no more true. With this stack, you can work with PHP on windows as easy as it can get. WAMP provides far advanced functions and features than any other stack. It provides apache, mysql, php, sqlbuddy and most importantly, Xdebug. Xdebug is the most useful function for me to debug php errors. Easy to use and test your website.. The perfect local host for setting up a local machine lab for your website development without having to do it online in a production environment.This is the only best server I had found for running the PHP application. This is an apache server. It have the php.ini for setting the initial variable for the php application. Also it have the support for the mysql. So that i dont have to install mysql seperately. It comes with all the software for developing the web application. PhpmyAdmin in this is very useful for managing the mysql data.

As if now i can't see any disadvantages and lot's of people are using it very easily.As lot's of my friends and other people are using this product and mostly no one is not at all facing any issues while using this product. I don't have any dis likes on this product.Some people who are not technical back ground the are facing how to set up and use of this product. Wamp creates an environment for testing out wordpress applications locally if you do not have an internet connection. Wamp also comes with a free instance MySql database which comes with an interactive user interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What i like the best in this type of server is that i can have the simplicity of a windows server and the security of apache for my web site , also developing in PHP is really simple and has a lot of information available for people like me is the best way to work with tecnologie stuff. In my dislikes are a few things :

1.- Windows server license are really expensive , and gets higher the price when you have a robust hardware to support it.

2.- MySql database is a litle bit complex to manage i preffer other type such as SqlServer .

3.- If i do not develop in PHP is not working properly with APACHE , other languaje like ASP.NET are not allowed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WampServer stack comes with full stack capability and ease to setup servers. It enables software developers to easily setup local development stack for developing web. Level of customization it provides for apache/mysql and php is the best. This enable web developers to fine tune the servers and replicate production servers. Only thing i dislike is wamp server forum, its not adding much value when developers are stuck with some problem. Apart from forum, all is good. In some cases we felt, wampserver website homepage need to have upgraded UX, currently UX of the wampserver.com website is not that great. Also wamp homepage that pops up while starting the server need to have overall UX improvement. These are the only things which i dislike.
