VERA is a third-party risk intelligence platform that helps organizations independently assess and monitor vendors using externally observable, verifiable evidence. VERA evaluates risk signals across attack surface exposure, vulnerabilities, DNS and email security, exposed credentials, breach intelligence, public code and secrets, compliance indicators, security maturity, financial risk, and reputational risk. Unlike traditional vendor assessments that rely primarily on questionnaires and vendor-provided documentation, VERA provides an independent evidence layer that helps security, procurement, and third-party risk teams identify potential issues, prioritize analyst attention, compare vendors, and reassess risk as conditions change.
