I kind of wish the AI was a bit more effective at telling me how to do things that I don't know how to do in an effective, efficient way. I guess in that sense, the support capabilities of the AI are a bit lacking. The performance velocity of the tool itself is not bad, but it does take a rather surprising amount of time to generate a PDF to download for the client deliverable. I dislike the cost. I don't use it that often, and it is quite expensive. However, I am unable to edit my work if I do not continue my subscription. There are some ongoing coding errors that even when reported are not resolved. When they are resolved there is no response to reported errors that something is fixed (or that something can't be resolved). Pricing is high compared to similar platforms (double the price of Canva). Cannot download SVG file format. AI background remover is not as good as Canva. AI erase and replace does not work. AI image generator is terrible. Because the UI/UX design has menus that automatically open, when using MS desktop split-screen function it is impossible to work even on large monitors because the menus block everything. I recently tried to create a a video using a combination of AI and pre-recorded video and finally gave up and switched to Canva. There are often some really really weird glitches that occur such as every time I make a change on a page the document instantly refreshes to the first page. I have to close everything and login again for everything to start working properly again. They are the type of glitches that are more like a desktop program that required defragging and the removal of temp files in the early 2000's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Visme makes it easy to design objects and shapes, which can be resized and aligned easily as they snap into place. There is a wide variety of icons to choose from, which makes things quite helpful. The templates are very helpful even though I don't use them a lot; they still provide a lot of ideas and are suitable for different mediums, like social media. Visme is not widely used by my editors of journals, which makes collaboration a challenge. They prefer using specific templates through PowerPoint, and incorporating these through Visme can be difficult, causing a disconnect between using two platforms.
