"Reasonably solid platform, at least with correct expectations"
4/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

VeriScan is smooth in operation once configured. It does not require much ongoing maintenance attention, correctly automated behaviors take over and are sustainable for years afterward. Their platform also keeps up with changes in background identity document structure automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

Not an outright dislike, but in the interest of transparency, you should know that VeriScan's configuration settings have a moderately large initial learning curve. The hierarchy of settings and controls indicates the product has been built out with layers of capabilities over time which scatter the settings around and create some significant work to get everything tuned correctly on first configuration, it's not an intuitive or prepackaged experience. Additionally, the default settings for their cloud service components are widely permissive and don't represent best practices to limit access, sharing, or retention of sensitive data. "Veriscan Makes Banning and Visitor Tracking Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

I love having the ability to ban someone who causes harm to our stores. I also appreciate being able to track where people are from—for example, whether they’re in-state, out of state, or even out of the country. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

Sometimes the system can be a bit laggy but really other than that we have yet to run into anything to make me dislike Veriscan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable identity verification"
5/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

VeriScan has made identity verification significantly faster and more reliable for our team. We've been able to streamline our onboarding process and reduced manual review time.

The interface is intuitive and the system handles a wide range of IDs and edge cases better than other tools we evaluated. VeriScan also give us more confidence in approving legitimate users while flagging suspicious activity early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

Reporting and analytics could be more customizable. That said, these issues are minor compared to the overall performance and reliability of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Easy to Use, and Backed by Outstanding Customer Service"
5/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

The product itself is straightforward and easy to use. Customer service and follow up by the team is outstanding! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

I honestly cannot think of any negatives. The team is easy to work with, has great follow through, and provides unsolicited updates, check-ins, etc., to make sure we are always comfortable with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Digital and Physical ID Verification"
5/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

VeriScan is a critical piece of our fraud prevention workflow. VeriScan makes it easy to check every ID and now makes it easy to verify Digital IDs. Syncing digital and physical IDs is seamless and centralized in the portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

VeriScan is enterprise software, so set up and configuration is complex. I think large companies will see the most value from the features, not as much for smaller companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with Multiple Scanners and Simple Device Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

Best part of it is the ease of use with different scanning devices. It's fairly easy to install different devices through the installer and do updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

The biggest issue was when we had issues scanning. We would have to scan 2-3 IDs, and then restart the application. Now that's been resolved, but it took a long time to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful ID Verification and Visitor Management Across Multiple Locations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

VeriScan is powerful ID verification and visitor management software. Scan IDs, drivers licenses, and passports, integrate with fake ID detection hardware, log visits, and better manage your customers across multiple locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

Potential false positive identifications or if the scan of a driver's license is not accurate and requires the identification presented to be rescanned causing potential end user frustration with the technology or a poor end user experience, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ID Verification"
0/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

ID verification made easy, in theory. When the VeriScan machines and the software works, it's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

The constant slow ID verification times and the fact that we're constantly having issues with the actual device, issues are brought up to support, but it's never really fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Remote Management and Compliance Benefits, Needs Update Improvements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about VeriScan?

I like that with VeriScan, I can remotely make changes for our stores around the country. This is especially valuable since our retail locations don't have on-site IT team members, so being able to change technical settings and troubleshoot remotely is a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VeriScan?

The software does not manually update and causes issues if it's not updated. 'Outside business hours' auto updates would be ideal. Initial setup was terrible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
