"Unit4 HCM Makes Temp Staffing Simple and Efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

I love how Unit4 HCM helps my company immensely! The company I work for outsources a lot of jobs to temps and with this platform we are able to staff accordingly with the most simple level of ease. It really helps us financially manage our employees payrolls in the most simple way! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

I have worked with many different people in the past and while most of them have been amazing! There are some that very much aren't. Sometimes its not the easiest to find good employees but that comes naturally with human experience. It would be nice to know whether someone you are hiring is really a good employee. "Unit4 HCM Makes HR Requests and Leave Tracking Simple in One Place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

In my professional life, Unit4 HCM simplifies simple HR-related tasks. I can request leave, check how many leaves I have left, and change my personal details without needing to email anyone or use paper forms. All this is done in one place, and it is easy to see what has been approved and what still requires attention. I appreciate the fact that I can view my history of previous requests and keep everything in mind without having to ask the HR department multiple times. It all seems very simple, and even small things such as viewing the list of upcoming public holidays help me plan my time better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

Occasionally, there is a slight delay in the system updating after I have made a request, so I have to wait a bit to check the status of approval. Additionally, some areas of the system could be located more easily. I have to spend a few extra clicks searching through menus when I am searching for older information. "User-Friendly and All-Inclusive Platform for Small HR Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

I like Unit4 HCM's user-friendly interface because it makes things much easier for me, especially as I'm an HR leader for a team of 50 and I'm only one person. The help guides and the virtual chats are incredibly helpful when I get hung up on things. Additionally, the ability to do everything from start to finish within one platform means I'm not wasting time switching screens or toggling between different programs. "My Experience Using Unit4 HCM"
5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

I appreciate Unit4 HCM's user-friendly interface and structured workflow design, which makes managing employee lifecycle processes easier in a centralized manner. The intuitive navigation allows HR users to quickly access employee records, organizational data, and approval workflows. I particularly value its real-time reporting and data visibility features, as they allow for generating workforce reports directly from the system, reducing manual effort and supporting data-driven decision-making. The integration capabilities with payroll and finance modules also help ensure data consistency and process efficiency. Overall, Unit4 HCM enhances transparency, improves process control, and significantly reduces the administrative workload within HR operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

Some of the advanced reporting features could be more user-friendly for HR users who aren't very technical. If reporting customization becomes more intuitive, it would make the system even more efficient for day-to-day use. Also, expanding dashboard personalization options would add more value, especially for managers who prefer role-specific visibility. A bit more workflow automation in certain areas could further streamline processes and reduce manual steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unit4 HCM: Streamlined HR Workflows and Self-Service in One Place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

What I like most is that Unit4 HCM keeps HR processes and employee data in one place. It’s easier to manage day-to-day HR work when requests, approvals, and employee updates follow a standard workflow instead of being handled through emails and spreadsheets. The self-service side is also a big plus—employees and managers can handle common tasks without always needing HR to step in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

Some areas feel less intuitive than they could be—especially reporting and configuration. For more complex changes, you often need an experienced admin, and it can feel a bit “click-heavy” for simple actions. Implementation also takes effort if you have multiple entities, lots of rules, or integrations, so it’s not always a quick setup. Support is fine, but when something is very specific or customized, it can take longer to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Purpose-Built HR That Cuts Admin Work and Elevates the Employee Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

It feels purpose-built rather than “generic enterprise HR. It also reduces admin workload for HR teams and improves employee experience. For organizations that care about linking people costs to financial outcomes, this integration is a major advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

Users have pointed out a steep learning curve. New users also saying configuring the system can require extra support or specialists. Also, Standard reports may fall short; advanced analytics can be hard to build. Mobile features are functional but not as smooth or complete as desktop Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What stands out most is Unit4 HCM's intuitive interface combined with strong reporting and self-service features. What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

While Unit4 HCM is highly functional, there are areas that could be improved, such as enhancing system speed during peak usage. Another area for improvement is system responsiveness during high traffic periods. Simplifying certain workflows and expanding custom reporting options to better align with our evolving business needs would also be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient, People-Centric HCM Platform with Strong ERP Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

What I like most about Unit4 HCM is its strong, people-centric design paired with comprehensive HR functionality in a single cloud platform. It delivers solid core HR, talent management, and self-service features that help reduce administrative workload while also improving the employee experience. The integration with Unit4 ERP is another major advantage, as it enables better alignment between HR and finance. Overall, it offers flexibility, good usability, and practical analytics that support more data-driven workforce decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

What I dislike about Unit4 HCM is that, compared with some leading global HCM suites, the user interface and navigation can feel less modern and less intuitive in certain areas. This can slow adoption and create a need for extra training for HR teams and managers. In addition, some advanced features and reporting dashboards may come across as less polished or more difficult to configure than those of competitors. Integration with third-party solutions can also require additional implementation effort or custom connectors, especially if you’re not already within the Unit4 ecosystem. Finally, for very large, highly complex multinational organizations, the depth of global payroll and compliance functionality may not be as extensive out of the box as it is with the largest HCM vendors, which can result in additional configuration work or consulting costs. "Intuitive and People-Focused, But Missing Areas to Improve"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Unit4 HCM?

What I like most about Unit4 HCM is how intuitive and people-focused it is. The system is easy to navigate for both employees and managers, which reduces the need for training and support. The self-service functionality works particularly well, allowing employees to manage their own information, request leave, and access documents efficiently, which helps reduce administrative workload for HR. I also like how the platform supports the full employee lifecycle, with information stored in one place and processes feeling joined-up rather than fragmented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit4 HCM?

One area I dislike about Unit4 HCM is that some processes can feel slightly complex or time-consuming, particularly for less frequently used tasks. Certain features are not always as intuitive as they could be, meaning users sometimes need additional guidance to complete actions confidently. Navigation between sections can also feel less streamlined, with information occasionally requiring multiple clicks to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
