The product itself has been easy to use and administer. I especially like the straightforward process of defining Google Cloud Storage integration. But importantly, I found it extremely easy to set up through the Google Cloud Platform marketplace offering. I am moderately capable with GCP's services, but by no means an expert, so the advantage of having it well-packaged for deployment makes it stand out. I've also requested support from the Thorn team, and they've been very responsive and able to solve my issues (confusion on my part, not product) within minutes. The Admin web console is intuitive and focussed on the day-to-day activities, like administering users and checking logs.

The knowledge base and manuals are clearly written.

The software runs very stable once your users have been created.

If needed, you can access to the CLI via SSH, and customized the running OS (Amazon Linux) according your own needs.

From the security standpoint. it needs to mention, the SFTP gateway uses a Thorn propeteriary SFTP protocol implementation, so it needs to be updated outside of the usual OpenSSH lifecycle.
