Testdriver Reviews & Product Details

TestDriver is an AI QA engineer for every pull request. It automatically runs your application in a real desktop sandbox, finds bugs, and builds regression tests, testing your app like a real user instead of just reviewing code or driving a browser. Tag @testdriverai in any GitHub repo and TestDriver goes to work on every pull request. It reads the diff to understand what changed, spins up a real desktop sandbox, and drives your application end to end with an AI vision agent, clicking, typing, and reading the screen to prove the new behavior works. No selectors, no DOM, no setup. Unlike AI code review that only reads diffs, or browser automation that only drives a single page, TestDriver executes your actual running software and tests it the way a real user would, across web, desktop, and extensions. What TestDriver does: 1. Validates every pull request automatically. The vision agent generates end-to-end tests straight from PR content and catches regressions before they merge, with no human in the loop. 2. Contributes tests back as a new PR. Once a test passes, TestDriver opens a fresh pull request with the generated test code committed for you. Review the diff, approve it, and the coverage lands alongside the change it protects. 3. Runs in CI. Tests are plain Vitest, so they run the same on your machine and in your pipeline, across web, desktop, and extensions on real VMs. Self-heals when the UI changes. When elements move, colors change, or selectors break, TestDriver re-invokes the AI to find them and keeps going. Tests survive redesigns instead of breaking on every tweak. 4. Makes failures easy to debug. Jump from a red build to a video replay, complete with network logs, CPU and memory metrics, and a step-by-step action log of every click and assertion. 5. Prevents regressions and monitors quality. Track pass rates, flaky tests, and failure trends across runs, and export to JUnit XML to feed any reporter you already use. Built for hard-to-test surfaces: Third-party web apps you don't own, Chrome and VS Code extensions, native Windows and macOS desktop apps, rich media (canvas, video players, iFrames, OAuth flows), and documents and AI content (file uploads, PDFs, LLM chatbots, spelling and grammar checks) that break selector-based tools. Key Benefits - Catch UI and runtime regressions before they merge, automatically on every PR - Get end-to-end test coverage without writing selectors or boilerplate - Test any app: web, desktop, mobile, and browser extensions - Tests that adapt to UI changes instead of breaking constantly - Debug faster with video replays, network logs, and full action history
