What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

I use Teamwork.com to manage cross-functional commercialization projects across various departments. I appreciate its ability to track timelines, owners, and dependencies in one place, which keeps our launches aligned and on schedule. The platform improves visibility across teams and reduces follow-ups and misalignment. I like how intuitive the interface is; it gives our team strong visibility into project status, allowing us to stay aligned and move launches forward efficiently. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Project Clarity and Outstanding Support with Teamwork.com"
5/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

What I like best about Teamwork.com is how effortlessly it helps me manage and visualise my team’s capacity and overall project health. The platform gives me complete clarity on workload, timelines, and progress, which has massively improved how we plan and deliver projects.

I also really value the finance section, having clear, easy-to-understand visibility of project budgets and financial performance is exactly what I need to keep everything on track.

The automations are another standout feature. Even as a non-technical user, I find them extremely intuitive and time-saving.

And finally, the support team is exceptional. Their responsiveness and willingness to help is second to none.

Overall, Teamwork.com gives me confidence, clarity, and efficiency, and I’d recommend it to any business looking for a project management platform that works brilliantly right out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

There isn’t much I actively dislike about Teamwork.com, but there are a couple of areas where small improvements would make a great product even better. Some of the more advanced features take a little time to discover, and a few parts of the interface could be even more streamlined to reduce clicks. Occasionally, certain views feel slightly limited in how much you can customise them, especially when trying to tailor reporting for different stakeholders.

That said, none of these are blockers, and the support team is always incredibly quick and helpful whenever I need guidance. Overall, the positives heavily outweigh any minor frustrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Teamwork Makes Team Collaboration Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

Teamwork makes it easy to collaborate as a team on big and small projects. The integrated chat is great, but it crashes often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

The platform is so big with so many features that it can be easy to get lost inside it. And it can be difficult to make sure every team member is using it the same. When there are so many options, everyone tends to use it a little differently, which can lead to projects being unorganized and miscommunication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Time and Cost Management with Teamwork.com"
5/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

I love how Teamwork.com helps in reviewing all of the tasks, tracking them down one by one, and assigning them to specific developers or team members. It also helps in time tracking, allowing me to start a timer when I get a task and stop it once completed, which I find really useful. I really appreciate the cost management features, where I can track costs associated with the time spent on tasks. This is super helpful for budget management, as I can see how much money has been spent on a task and how much time it has taken. I also like that it's totally easy to set up. You just log in and start working right away. Plus, its integration with Slack is really beneficial for us, making collaboration smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

I have different tasks that have been assigned to me. But there is a separation between tasks that have been completed and the tasks that are assigned to me, and I cannot look at them at the same time. I can add a filter on it to see which tasks are completed, but at the same time, I cannot see tasks that are assigned to me but haven't started working on them. "Good tool for Client Communication and Resource Planning"
4/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

Teamwork is a good place to handle client communications and to save relevant documentation without involving the internal team. The task dependencies, time tracking, and workload management features are especially helpful for resource planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

The mobile app's performance could use some improvement, as it sometimes lags when handling large projects. Additionally, the pricing may become a bit costly for expanding teams, particularly when there is a need for advanced features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Planning with Robust Collaboration Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

I use Teamwork.com for planning as a traffic manager, and it's greatly helped me with planning, prioritizing, and collaboration across departments. I love the option to assign and re-assign tasks, and choosing who gets notified instead of sending a message to everyone. Timesheets and pulling reports are very handy, and I appreciate being able to tag everyone. Creating a robust system for setting priorities and deadlines works best with the table view, and the board view lets me move work into different workflows, which helps me group tasks efficiently. Teamwork shows exactly what everyone is working on and their capacity, creating clear task deadlines, dependencies, and reminders. It links comments, files, feedback, and approvals to tasks, and I can instantly see what's complete, overdue, or needs approval. Every change is recorded, and the reminders and notifications feature is super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

When you go to planning, it doesn't really show people's tasks, it's supposed to pick up what's assigned to who and then that should reflect and count the hours, there's no other options for me to manually do it, when I do it, it creates a new task which causes a confusion because it's a duplicate, there should be a way to show task under planning same way as Jira (Tempo board) it's there but I don't think it's working as it should. Not too hectic, the challenge was the people not wanting to figure it out, so we had to do a mini training for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Project Management, Highly Recommended"
5/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

I find Teamwork.com very intuitive and easy to use. I like adding tasks with due dates for team members, as it really helps organize projects. Setting it up was easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

Notifications can get out of hand. Finding a way to make them look different by priority in inbox would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Planning and Tracking, Needs Better Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

I really appreciate the workload planner view in Teamwork.com. It provides clear visibility into my team's workload, upcoming capacity, and all the tasks they are assigned. This feature is invaluable for traffic management as it ensures that I can plan capacity effectively and track work in progress with ease. The single source of truth for projects and tasks that Teamwork.com offers is incredibly useful. Additionally, even though I was not part of the initial setup of Teamwork.com, I am currently undertaking some re-configuration as part of a freelance contract and have found the platform to be very intuitive for the most part. I would also like to give a special shout out to the support team, and Chris Foster in particular. I have been bowled over by how pro-active, responsive and helpful the support team have been in looking into any functionality problems that have arisen and answering my queries on system set up. I have worked across multiple project management softwares in the past and I have never encountered such incredible support offered by any support team previously. This is honestly one of the biggest selling points to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

I'd like to see the reporting functionalities of Teamwork.com expanded, as they lack the customization and flexibility of some competitors. For example, allowing reporting based on filters across 'all time,' would allow far greater freedom to build customised reports that would be beneficial to us. "Simple, Organized Team System with an Easy Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about Teamwork.com?

Simple interface and organized system for teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?

1. Steep learning curve and complexity

Many users find the interface and the deep feature set overwhelming at first, especially for smaller teams or for people who are new to project management tools. The more advanced features can also take a while to learn, set up, and configure properly.

2. Performance issues and sluggishness

When managing larger projects with lots of tasks, data, or users, the platform can start to feel slow or laggy. Reviewers mention longer load times, occasional glitches, and a generally less responsive experience at scale.

3. Pricing and plan limitations

Some users feel the pricing structure is confusing, and that important features are locked behind higher-tier plans. Certain limits (such as budget counts) or the need to contact a sales team to upgrade can be frustrating, particularly for small businesses.

4. Interface and usability quirks

Even though it’s powerful, the layout isn’t always intuitive. Menus can hide key features, search and navigation can feel clunky, and the UI may come across as dated compared with sleeker competitors.

5. Notification overload

Teams sometimes complain about receiving too many notifications, and that they’re not always easy to manage or customize.

6. Mobile experience limitations

The mobile app is generally less capable than the desktop version, which can leave on-the-go users wanting more.

7. Occasional software bugs and reliability issues

There are reports of bugs such as comments or posting features not working consistently, along with inconsistent behavior in reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
